On February 21st, 2014, Dr. William Lane Craig (PhD. Philosophy, Theology) and Dr. Sean Carroll (PhD. Astronomy) participated in the Greer Heard Forum, which seeks to promote intelligent dialogue between believers and nonbelievers. The formal debate, which was over the relevance of theism in contemporary cosmology, was followed the next day by a series of responses from other scholars, two chosen by Dr. Craig, and two chosen by Dr. Carroll. The clip above shows the portions of the debate which the two participants devoted to a back-and-forth discussion of the Kalam Cosmological Argument, a traditional argument of natural theology defended most prominently by Dr. Craig on the contemporary scene. You can watch the entire debate here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-y-IbL-yLkk You can find a transcript of this debate on Dr. William Lane Craig's ministry website: http://www.reasonablefaith.org/god-and-cosmology-the-existence-of-god-in-light-of-contemporary-cosmology You can find the two men's respective websites below. Kalam cosmological argument, objective morality argument, fine tuning argument etc. are not actually necessary for proving the existence of God. Special theory of relativity is sufficient for that purpose. So long special theory of relativity will be there, we will require no special pleading for proving the existence of God.

LOL,
(P1) Everything that is sentient has a cause.
(P2) The Abrahamic god is (said to be) sentient.
(C) Therefore the Abrahamic god has a cause.
KCA, refuted. -
I wish I knew who would right. But that would imply I was smart enough to understand Sean Caroll's explanation.
