The rink looked stupid anyways, nothing cool about it. They could have come up with better ideas.

This seems like animal cruelty 😩☹️😩
-
coudent they just make models of the fish we have 3d printers now 😐
-
Well it was sushi or some artsy shit inside the ice, the wanted the artsy shit
-
You must be one of those JSW candy asses I've heard about. STOP WHINING ALREADY!
-
This seems like something Denmark would be into, not Japan.
Also, why is that stingray upside down? -
the fish were taken off the market because they were not fit for human consumption. .. more libtards crying over spoiled milk. . wwaaaawwaaaaa
-
People need to grow some skin! I'd love to skate over frozen animals
-
Because these fucks suffered to much radiation. Nuke them again and nuke them right!
-
BETTER TO PAINT FISH ON THE FLOOR, they have great painters , japanese people are so talented, so they can paint the ocean on the floor and use frozen water on top.

Disgusting stupid people. These were already dead, insufficient for consuming fish, frozen. Why turn this story into "fish-holocaust" shit?! These same cry-babies will go and eat beacon or beef or chicken nuggets, or damn sushi like it's nothing on the same day! Oh right, as long as you DON'T see how your food was killed, it's all fine. But freezing dead fish is NOT OK.
I feel sorry for the people who wasted money and effort on that attraction... -
i think they should freeze u laying down on a skatingpark would make me wanna visit it.
-
they should have just used plastic fish... why tf would they buy 5 000 fish from some ppl who killed them. so unnecersery
-
i'm a kid but i don't think thats cool at all poor fish :(

The argument about a company using food as art makes sense, but at least the fish market presumably made a big profit off the purchase. I wouldn't have minded skating above dead fish as a kid; I've seen and eaten dead fish plenty of times, no mental trauma resulted from it. The caption could be seen as a little bit creepy, I guess, but other than that I see nothing wrong with the attraction. It's not like kids are going to put their fish tanks into freezers to make their own skating rings, right? I mean, the kids who have been properly taught about pet care and mortality, that is.

But eating living squid or still beating hearts of a fish or seeing the fish picked out of a tank carved up and served still mostly alive is better hum. I know different culture but they do things more dramatic than freezing fish. I have no issues with those things if that is what you wish to eat and how to eat them so be it.

I have a bag of frozen Catfish in the freezer. TAKE THAT PETA!!

Naa, kids aren't like this. You're wrong my friend, don't underestimate them. I'm pretty sure they will ask sth like "how these fish got here?" or "what are these fish doing here?". Thanks for sharing. Saludos!
