In this video I look at a bizarre part of Islam's creation myth within Islam that has been successfully swept under the carpet in recent generations by Muslim sheikhs to avoid facing embarrassment and awkward questions on why this was such a commonly held belief in Islam among the most reputable scholars until very recently. I look at what the biggest exegetes (mufassireen of the Quran) have to say about verse 68:1 of the Quran and ask why Muslims always insist that Muslims with doubts should speak to a scholar. I argue here if the best scholars got the very basics of their understanding of reality completely wrong, then something is likely to be wrong with the texts they dedicated their lives studying.
