I also don't get why n^2=8mL^2E/(h-bar^2) - to its left is E=(hbar^2 pi^2)/(2mL^2)*(n_x+n_y+n_z), which gives you something different if you rearrange for n.

very good. they way it is explained.. the lecturer usees practile examples to underline theory...not many lecturers are abel to do that eventhough it is a simple thing and is esential so that students who are new to the matter are able to understand and remeber it easier
