Not sure if you will see this comment but thank you so much for this tutorial. I followed your instructions and was able to do rope twists. I had only ever done normal two strand twists. I love the rope twist. You DO get great definition :-) I get similar results with the 3 strand twists but that takes too long !

you know i actually learnt twist from watching Senegalese twist from back home in Nigeria, so i have been doing this rope twist more than the normal twist for my twist out without actually thinking there was any difference, maybe to be faster the normal one automatically when i'm tired of twisting my hair, thanks for the eye opener.. i really appreciate your channel..
