amrica!!!! heck yea!!!!!
in warhammar but this has helped becuase i have like a 10000 point army of these guys and i cant news them -
I took your marine logic very seriously, Space marines in general are hard to kill, every upgrade is just a bonus. So I give them all bolters
-
I find that it actually makes sense for the extra Ld t take a vetsgt. Also, in 10-man squad, it makes sense to combat-squad a heavy weapon (I like heavy bolters for anti-inf/light vehicle) into a small firebase, and make a closerange (flamer or meltagun) squad in the rhino, in which case the vet sgt also gets close enough forthe extra attack to not be wasted. DO NOT underestimate their close combat - I had (by luck, admittedly) a single vet sgt with a poweraxe take out 9 Necron warriors once - my warriors, but I was still impressed
-
right now im running 3 10 man tac squads with full upgrades so vet sgt, flamer, missile launcher, etc. and I'll usually just run them up the board hoping theyll either absorb hits so my specialty guys like centurions or assault terminators won't or that they'll make it up and flame everyone and shoot everyone. I have one drop pod and a Land Raider Redeemer as my only vehicles.

I've just subbed and watched quite a few of your tactics vids, awesome stuff :) I'm fairly new to 7th edition 40k, I used to play but haven''t in a long time, so your vids have been quite helpful. What are your thoughts on maxing out on Tactical Squads? Having six 10-man squads kept fairly cheap, missile launcher and plasma gun, vet sarge, maybe a couple of Razorbacks. I figure it'd be pretty tough to kill that many, and I'd still have over half of my points spare for fast attack and heavy support.

the American Flag is fucking stupid

I used to love playing 40k... I have a battle company of my own chapter and I love brining 6 squads of marines in pods to bear. They are so flexible and very difficult for non CC units to dig through. Then I usually reinforce the failing parts of my plan with assualt marines (on bikes or with packs with the chaplain) while the 2 dreads and captain and command squad take on the scary parts... the codex is setup the way it is for a reason. A company is a balanced force that gets suplemented by the librarians and tech marines and 1st and 10th companies as required.

Hey first of all great video and advice! It has helped me understand a lot of mistakes I made in the past (mostly synergy issues.)
Your rants are the best lol!
Do you have any recommendations for Black Templar Crusader Squads? I am just starting again after not playing since they had their own codex. Is it better to specialize them into close combat or shooting? or have them mixed? I personally think specialized because then part of your squad is useless if you mixed it. Also are the neophytes even worth mixing in?
Thanks! -
Just started following your posts - it will be interesting to see your take on the new Codex..
Enjoyed your points, and the style of your Army PJ (USA! USA! USA!). Greets from Aus! -
intersting

With the new Blood Angels list you can do a Tactical Squad with a 2 Hand Flamer Sergeant, 1 Flamer and 1 Heavy Flamer. That's almost as scary to charge as a monkey barrel
-
i still think that my fire worriors are better than tactical marines

+1 vote for the American paint scheme
+1 for the weathering effects on the boots
and awesome rhino/light-sourcing paint job!
awesome vid. i think there's a lot of honour in the humility of the standard T4, 3+ save and a bolter. also for specialising <(uk spelling cuz im candian, eh) units the power of combat-squadding is fenomenonal <(retard spelling just cuz) -
Enjoyed this gamza, could you do a video on different weapon choices like flamers and what there usages are for, I'm still learning and I still wonder what the best weapons are for different army types.
-
I usually play them with: Flamer, lascannon and fist/combiflamer on the vet-sgt in a razorback and one of the squads together with Cassius. Combat squad them and have the lascannon support them. To drop those three flamer templates on a infatry squad is very satisfying. May not sound like it but this squad is really effective.

Awesome vid Gamza!
i like to take Plasma and combi-Plasma for a TT SQ in a drop pod
or MeltaGun, Multi-melta and a combi-melta!
And I dont take a vet Sergeant only when i take a close combat weapon So that way i have one more attack!
I prefer to have a Bolter on my sergeants because its still a shooty game I think this is more helpful than that +1 attack in combat! -
Hi Gamza, what chapter tactics do you use? I play black templars, id love to see a video on your thoughts regarding crusader squads ^_^

not upgrade a sergant?... so you sayin that sergant with 6 power fists with c'than claws poping out wolverine style and jetpack, teleporter, 4x dreadnought legs and landraider armor does not worth it?:( uhm ok so no space marine defiler for this match...
