I put a piece of EVA foam matt in the bottom of those black and yellow, 27 gallon storage totes from Lowe's, then set my four Trojan L-16 batteries inside the tote, which sits on plywood and Harbour Freight moving dollies. They fit perfectly with the piece of interlocking matt squishing to fit the ribs in the bottom of the tote and equalizing the weight better. Beware, the Home Depot totes are taller, but smaller width and length. Inverting a second $12 tote made a cover, and latched on top of the bottom like magic, with two 16" flat bungees from WalMart stretched across the ends thru the corner slots in the tote rim. Cables enter thru holes drilled below the rim. Adding a 2" ABS vent pipe in the center makes this a really clean looking set-up. Being able to move them easily from a temporary location to a permanent one in my shop was a real plus. For a small battery bank or large, it should work great. If you don't put it on wheels, you just drill cable holes, attach a vent and cut the EVA matt. Adding another "module" real soon. Hope this helps.

Enjoyed your video, not fully understanding everything at this point, as this is all new to me. My wife and I are building a 24x28 timber frame house in Michigan's Upper Peninsula starting this summer. We want to put a in-slab Radiant heat system in. The power source I'm thinking of at this time is a wind mill cam connected to a treadmill motor run into the battery bank, the one thing I'm trying to learn from this point is how to hook the battery bank to a breaker box to run the Household appliances. I'll continue to look at your videos, these are more to what I'm looking at do than anything else I've run into at this time. Thanks
