I have a Nikon D3300, what white balance profile should i use for astrophotography?
-
Hi Liam, Great video. I enjoyed it and picked up some helpful tips.

Thanks for the tips! I was able to find a spot to take some Milky Way photos this past weekend and am now trying to process them. Your video was very helpful. What was causing all of the light at the bottom of your frame - just above the horizon?

I am having problems where after I edit my image, the develop module image doesn't match the library module image. does that happen to you with astrophotography pictures too?

Great video, will help me with a video I am making for my channel. Have a great day!

Hi Liam Nethery, how do you save/export the picture after editing? I ask that because after I save it there's a lot more white points in the sky and it doesn't look like the picture opened in the lightroom... Can you help me?

There was some major noise going on in the foreground when you were done and I kept thinking you were going to do some noise reduction but you never did. You could have gotten rid of that purple hue by targeting the color noise and removing it with noise reduction as well. You could even make a mask and only apply the reduction to the foreground so that you don't lose any of the sharpness or detail in the stars.

Where and when can you shoot the milky way? Because I live in Belgium and I'm not sure it's possible to shoot the milky way here... Thanks in advance!

Could you please give the f-stop, iso, and shutter speed?
-
Hi Liam, can I ask where you took this photo please?
-
+Liam Nethery How come your foreground is that bright already?

What kind of file should I save it as for the best quality?

Hey Liam, really nice tutorial. I just have a question, at what time was this photo taken at? I really want to try it but I dont know if there is any specific time
-
Hi Liam
Really great tutorial thank you. One question I have is my sky is always so blue and no matter what I do I cant change it to a nice natural looking night sky. Is it because I am shooting too early . it was around 1am in the morning and the sun set at 10pm so I should be out of the 'blue hour' really.
Thanks :) -

Another easy way to fix the white balance is to bring the vibrance and saturation all the way to the top. Then you play with the temp and tint, until you get the whitest tones, not too blue and not too green. And once again you bring the vibrance and saturation back to normal.
