How to build a giant ring space station - Kerbal Space Program Tutorial

1. LOL Crazy Stuff I have yet to master getting a Kerbal to orbit and seem to be far away from getting him back down to earth safely, and then there are people like this guy...
2. the coolest thing in ring Space stations is the re-entry into kerbins atmosphere or the apoapsis
3. how does he move the objects like that? is that part of the game?
4. Aww. I was hoping on a ring station around the entire planet. I want to make a ring around Minmus, but I'm not sure yet how to do it. I guess I can just shoot loads of modules to minmus and line them up, but I think KSP wont bent the station as it gets longer.. Any suggestions? Thanks for your time in advance.

16. each time I try to attach the spokes to the center the go through the center even though I added struts
