How and why can this happen and what are the implications of this experiment on how we understand Quantum Mechanics and our greater universe? dear universe, can you please stop trolling us and work with us for a change?

Reality is fundamentally postmodern in nature.

Quantum Mechanics with quantum functions al+l ways lead un2 more efficient/sufficient and error-corrected Quotum Motor(function)s:

This experiment has always bugged me. If you can know whether the delayed observer is going to observe before he does it, then I could send many particles and code a message in binary by looking at the particle when I need a 1 and not looking when I need a 0. Wouldn't the observer then be comunicating with someone from the future, since the particles reach him berofe me? Wouldn't that create paradoxes?

It is easier to believe that a probability function spanning a region of space can span a region of time as well, including the future, obviating the need for rewriting the past. Thinking spacetime. If the photons all leave the gun in the same form (wave or particle) that they have when they hit a screen, doesn't that suggest the photons somehow "sense" in advance the path they each will take as well as whether either path is knowable?
-
Quantum causality or Bhomian quantum dynamics may not actually be physical as wave like properties are just a behavior( renormalizing at light speed or the speed of gravity) not a individual particulate component. When you move your pin in a up and down one side to an other, two carbon atoms move instantaneously opposite to one another as two entangled photons, this is because they are already entangled with each other.
-
Remember photons reflecting off the detectors are at the sub-quantum level entangled with one another on many levels and they form new connections all the time. Time at that level is not real as the original and new entangled relationships can more easily be maintained even ones that are yet to happen to an observer.
-
The thing about entanglement is that all particles are always in that state, it's just the addition of new entangled states and interaction that decoheres their synchronization or simultaneity of causality loops. So Time may fundamentally arise from this decoherence or asymmetry in the quantum holographic memory of entangled states. Though recoherence can resynchronize the particles pendulum like behavior, especially when temperature decreases locally in that particular system. When entangled particles display instant simultaneous behavior, they may actually communicate no information as the information needed is already intrinsic to the pair which are as one extended particle.

You just shown an experiment that demonstrates that an action "now" can influence something in the past. Then you talk about non locality and entanglement which are based on "instantaneous" {as in no space or time} action at a distance. Then, against all these evidence shown to prove how strange quantum physics is, you proclaim that none of the before violate causality when all of the above where exactly used to show how they do. Even when general relativity shows that causality does not exist as we perceive it {as said in one of your own PBS videos}.
It has always amazed me how physicists, before all the evidence they have, come up with incomplete explanations like; "it is not that the observer collapses the wave function, it is that there is an infinite amount of universes" and somehow, having an infinite amount of universes makes more sense.
Somewhere in this video, the presentator mentions something about an observer collapsing a wave function is no diferent from a plant doing the same thing. It is with stupid comments like this, that for decades now, physicists have tried to delegitimize the Copenhagen interpretation and have not been able to do it.
Quantum physics is quite confusing by itself, but it gets even more confusing when people do not accept the conclusions and implications of it and try to explain them away as "metaphysical" or "crazy". It is OK to keep looking for the mythical "hidden variables" {Bell's inequality solved that years ago I think}, just stop talking about quantum physics as if there is still something to be discovered that will make it all make sense. Quantum physics makes sense, it works, all our gadgets work based on quantum physics, it has been proven and never has been disproven. Just say you do not like the implications of the Copenhagen interpretation {which, by the way, are the same implications of general relativity} and leave it at that. -
Too weird. It is either the shadow of the multiverse or lazy evaluation of the simulation we most likely inhabit.
-
I don't understand what "observation" means in this context... Please explain!
-
Umm, could it be because that the entangled particles are not only spatially local but also "timely" local ? like, they are not only entangled in SPACE but SPACETIME ?
-
you lost me at big bang, wow all this "knowledge" .......... it's just a script. we are a sim, made by a sim, infinite number of times, created by one consciousness/god/mystical AI. We are all of the same being, living in the fabricated experience we created/coded with unlimited set of variables/possibilities with only one rule... the simulation begins but attaining this awareness may conclude we are nearing the end. This is just a hypothesis, have a good day.

The image used at 5:15 is missleading.. why is there a blue "thing to reunite both A and B trajectories to the center of the screen ? shoudn't it be two straight rectangular beams that come out of each split ? And therefore create the interference patern?
-
What if humans already have the ability to entangle with any particle of the universes. We have been so dependent on technology that we are forgetting who we are. My personal meditation sessions have implications of this.
-
Question: If the length to detectors A and B was made to be so far away (say, one light-hour) that all the photons had already been fired and landed on the interference screen before they reached A and B, wouldn't there have to be either a random pattern, or an interference pattern already?

I'm not satisfied with his definition of observation, is it quantum entanglement?
