Some people are getting confused where the N-type semi-conductor and P-type semi-conductor is. The N-type semi-conductor is found on the top layer of the solar cell which is commonly made of silicon, in this case TiO2. The P-type semi-conductor is located at the bottom which is slightly more positive, which means it will absorb the electron and transfer it back through the use of the electrolyte to the N-type wafer.

Titanium Dioxide? Tin Oxide? What happened to Silicon? Is this some kind of new technology? I have enever heard of this.

Why can't the electron be recycled? Why can't the dye molecule repeat the process once the electron has been returned? And why have electrons be moved back to the dye molecule if it cant be recycled, why not just shoot it out the side or something?
