Hear What Space Is Like From NASA's Most Traveled Astronaut | National Geographic
About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
A record-breaking NASA astronaut talks about taking photos from space—especially of U.S. national parks—his record, and the possibility of traveling to Mars. NASA astronaut Jeff Williams has spent 534 days in space, more than any other American astronaut. While on the International Space Station, Williams pursued his passion of photography, and this year he focused on national parks in celebration of the Park Service's centennial. When fellow astronaut Peggy Whitson embarks on her next space mission, in November, she'll have a chance to surpass Williams's spaceflight record. ➡ Subscribe: http://bit.ly/NatGeoSubscribe About National Geographic: National Geographic is the world's premium destination for science, exploration, and adventure. Nice video! Which cameras are you using?

Seriously, what is up with all these brain dead retards in the comments who claim that space is "fake" and the "Earth is flat" and etc? Can one of you illiterates explain to me in great detail why you believe the crazy shit you believe in? Cause no matter how hard I try to wrap my mind around it, I can't understand and fathom the massive levels of retardation you people believe in. So if one of you could answer my basic question, I'd greatly appreciate it.

space may be the final frontier but its made in a hollywood basement

Space may be the final frontier

If you don't believe in god's existence than you are brainless

How can anybody see a photo of a ball earth and think it's real? I mean, I understand, since the first day of school teachers shove the globe in your faces, programming you, but damn, you're adults now. You're not living on a spinning ball shooting itself through space, rotating around a star 93 million miles away. Don't believe that freemasonic bullshit. Degrasse is a puppet, Nye is a puppet, Einstein was a jew puppet, Newton was a tool to push gravity, Hawkings was a puppet (was, because he's been dead for years), etc etc etc.
Fucking people, man. You guys beelive everyhting you hear and see and everything scientists put in front of you. Just like that puppet Nixon said: People are stupid. They won't believe anything until they see it on television.
That' waht you people are doing. Just because the "smart people" on television tell you that you live on a ball earth spinning through space, you believe it. And the only proof you have is beautifully cloaked mathematical theories that prove nothing at all. -
he would love and proud for people who can beat his record. one must appreciate humility.

"good for her" but deep down like "f***"

I wonder what psychological affects would occur if a human was sent to space alone.
