what year was this filmed?
-
Nevermind, I found it.
-
Can anyone send me a link to find the complete video? I seem to recall there is a section about reteaching the concept.
-
Like it matters what. Since when does every person on the planet need to know why the causation of the season to be successful. Also, who cares what Harvard grad thinks anyway...
-
This is only half the video. The full video has multiple graduates get the answer correct following the diagram, and among them was Barrack Obama.
-
I'm utterly dumbfounded
-
Hahahahahhahahaha Oh my.... WOW
-
This is incredibly sad.
-
love this video = speaks to the truth of one's own private universe! Ex: Ted Cruz.
-
When they say farther and closer away, I think they're referring to their specific location on the earth in relation to the planet's tilt angle. So if that's what they mean, then they are right.
-
First of all, I wonder how many graduates they had to interview in order to find three that didn't know the answer. Second, knowing the reason for the seasons doesn't make you better at anything, except, maybe, astronomy. This is 'so what?' knowledge. They will do just fine in life without this. I truly don't understand what all the uproar is about. Beyond that, anyone could be made to look like an idiot if you ask them enough trivia(l) questions. But, challenge these same three Harvard grads in areas that they know a lot about, and they would likely run circles around any of us.
-
It is at least positive and relieving that they didn't say the Sun circles the Earth.
-
Interviewer: "What causes the seasons on Earth?"
Harvard graduate: "Who the f cares? I am now networked in with the rich and powerful!" -
It is sad that all that education they paid for isn't giving them basic knowledge in science because science has a lot to do with our daily life.
-
I just want to point out that only 3 people were asked. If I am right in saying that seasons are due to the tilt of the earth, then I'm sure there were graduates there that were asked that also answered this way.
-
college graduate level: fucking retarded
-
wow, they're fuckin idiots
-
Oh this was in the 1980s... that's why it looks old.
-
I think it's not that they haven't learned it in 5th grade, it's either they've forgotten about it or they didn't actually understand the concept when they were learning about it at that age.
