like the red face maybe its the mars in you,go a 4.5 dobsonian a week ago not used it just 2 weeks of cloud cover did some sky watching when i was younger but i forgot all about it your vid do help.as for lenses i got them all i will find the ones that work the flog the others i dond need on ebay or i will start a new hobby of LENSEOLOGY .. jeff .. somerset ..

Afraid i can't come up with any tips on a mount, make sure it is strong though as you now know how heavy they are! Now that winter is on its way back there should be some excellent astronomy times ahead! Make sure you check out the seven sisters (pleiades) as those will give you an incredible view in a dark sky! Enjoy and may you have clear skies!

i opted for the 20 x80s only tried them during the day looking at the hills so far but they seem clear, good optics,any sugestions on how to make a cheap mount as i cant really afford one from the shop ,,,,simple design ? ohh and thanks for the review
