5. I liked the heisei series, but "Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla" was dreadful. The only one in that series I hated. The rest were pretty awesome like "Godzilla 1985/The Return of Godzilla", "Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah", "Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla 2" and "Godzilla vs. Destoroyah". With "Godzilla vs. Biollante" and "Godzilla and Mothra: The Battle for Earth" being good but not great.

8.  showa series ends with terror of mechagodzilla, then 1985 to Godzilla vs destoryah is the heisei series, then all the other movies after those series are stand alone except the 2 with mechagodzilla.  But some of the monsters that Godzilla fought star in their own movies. Rodan has his own movie, and mothra has 4 of her own movies and varan has his own movie. The robot in this movie was a redesign of another robot in the film "the mysterians .  the king kong that fought Godzilla also had another film where he fights a robot kong called King kong escapes. Baragon fights a giant Frankenstein in Frankenstein conquers the world and that film has a very loose sequel called war of the gargantuas.
