Hi Charles, I am a vet from the Philippines. I just want to know the most appropriate land mark for incision for this technique? Your video looks more secure than the blind precuteneous technique or the endoscopic technique. Thank you.

He, Alex. This is a temporary tube placement in a dog with an oesophageal foreign body. Endoscope guided gastrostomy is great, although you don't have the security that if the tube is pulled out before a stoma has formed, you could have leakage of ingesta and subsequent peritonitis.
