Games X-Plained: Let's Play Endless Space, Part 1
About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
Endless Space is a 4X Turn Based strategy game with a lot of potential, and has come a long way since it was released. If you enjoy this genre, it's certainly a game to check out. I'm using the Fair Fight rebalance mod, which can be found here: http://forums.amplitude-studios.com/showthread.php?15816-WIP-quot-Fair-Fight-quot-combat-re-balance-mod. Part 2 can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Td8Uz_6lvMg

"So congratulations, you've just made someone very unhappy!" LOOOOL! XD
-
Geesh, I don't think you missed a thing. Well done! Maybe could've been a bit shorter, but then again it's set so even the idiots can understand so I guess it's as close to perfect as perfect can be :)
I actually decided not to buy the game due to it's lack of personality, enjoyable interactivity and that wanting to continue feeling (lacks replay value due to unrewarding feel). Seems a bit plain and watered down, especially diplomat screen and many other screens where an animation with voice could make all the difference. Thanks for your review = Made me feel like I already tried out the game with the unlimited spoilers; which didn't bother me at all, but am very thankful for! -
I liked your video Mate Keep doing it,
watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXGIRiPxsvk -
Check out my video, it would really help me and the channel and if you enjoy why not subscribe its free and you will be kept up to date with all my latest videos
-
I just have to subscribe, this guy is hilarious lol

Extremely informative and very easy to listen to with your clear spoken voice and vocabulary. I wish you had a video like this for Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion too as I'm trying to decide between that one or Endless Space and I have zero experience with 4x games, but would like to get into one.

Wonderful channel! :)

Great video, I learnt a lot. This is the first video I've seen of yours which isn't about "Star Citizen". Keep up the good work. BTW, what organization are you with in "Star Citizen"?
-
1.1.42 is out, has this version of the game addressed the balance issues?
-
saw what you did there with Manticore
-
1:12:25 I think that was a nerdgasm.
-
In the beginning I though: "Wow what a nerdy video, it's part 1 and over 3 hours!". Then I started watching... and couldn't stop any more. Now I'm going to buy the game. Thanks to this video! ^_^
-
I usually do that, though it feels a little gamey to me >_<

When you have powerful fleets that destroy the opponent in long or middle range you should use nanorepair last (in the melee phase of the battle). Even if you have destroyed your opponent you still play the card, thus repair some, usually most or all, damage that your ship have suffered in the battle.
-
You should try apples, they're way better than oranges.
-
Thanks for making the video! I was on the fence as to whether I wanted the game or not, but after watching your video I've decided... I just hope that playing the game lives up to how fun it is to watch YOU play the game!
-
dose that meen that the USS ships made at polaris place are like united santa ship?
-
you should play sword of the stars 1 it is way better then endless space
-
also: If you even only have access to one deposit of a given resource, like titanium 70, I think it doesn't care where you choose to build the ship as the resource is transported there.
