Galaxies From Nothing

All the large-scale structure in the universe may owe its existence to nothing. We think of empty space as, well... empty, the epitome of nothingness. But as our understanding of physics has evolved we have realized that it's not truly empty. Space is filled with fields. There is a field for every subatomic particle. One for electrons, up quarks, down quarks, neutrinos and so on. In empty space these fields are basically zero, flat, nil. But it's impossible to make them perfectly zero so there are always some quantum fluctuations in the fields, even in a perfect vacuum. These are sometimes called virtual particles but they should really just be thought of as little disturbances in the field. Vacuum fluctuation play a role mediating the interactions of subatomic particles but they don't really have an impact on the large-scale structure of the universe, EXCEPT during inflation, right after the big bang when the universe increased in size 10^26 times. Due to this rapid expansion, those tiny fluctuations were blown up to the scale of the observable universe. And we know this by looking at the cosmic microwave background radiation where we can see slightly hotter and cooler parts of the early universe that correspond to density fluctuations. And it is these density fluctuations that allowed matter to clump together into large structures like the gigantic gas clouds that would go on to contain stars and planets. In case the video isn't clear, this is what I've been trying to say. Animations by Gustavo Rosa This video was sponsored in part by Dyson #ad

Thank you for doing what you do. I love your work mate. :)

That's why I believe in God. If this whole thing exist by accident from nothing, where is the gas which made big bang from? scientists cannot explain that but bible has a clear answer.

Is that a background radiation globe? iWant!

We are created by one God deal with it no bang there was, its the hard truth

But, but, it was made in six days. LOL
This is how the cookie is crumbling :D -
I love stories like this. Its funny how ironic this channel is, makes a video after this one about facts. Yet this video acts like it is a fact. No, it is all theory which can be absolutely wrong. It was not observed, and we dont know, scientifically, what happened at the start.

so what's the 4th phase of expansion?
-
the combined radiation vs volume changed which increased the vacuum and thus gravity increased since the gravity tubules formed large pathway bundles, or vacuoles. This allowed mega clusters during the big bang instead of black holes.

Nice fairy tail. The earth is flat !

Thank you, Veritaseum, for all your great work. BTW, I don't understand why there's so many thumb-downs. Is this an anomaly? Can anyone explain this?

Just a short question for people that believe in God: who created God? Or do you guys think he was just chilling all the time?
-
Never was 'nothing', for as soon as there was 'nothing', well there was simultaneously something. kinda means if there never can be 'nothing', the 'original' reality/something happened an infinite 'time' ago. Matter energy coming from nothing is the same as if they existed eternally. Our universe probably just one iteration of an infinite number of universe in 'space' and 'time'. Just think, there is a me a trillion trillion years in the 'future' typing the exact same thing here. Problem with infinite is that the improbable becomes certainty, infinite times over. I've given up thinking about it. The 'answer' is unknowable, because we can't even contemplate the question.

So I understand people believe that a "Big Bang" created the universe. But how do we know for sure? Nobody that we know of saw it occur, so how do we know?

(Super extremely unrealistic situation) is it possible that, if the universe starts decelerating again to 99.9 repeating with an 8 at the end percent of the speed of light and stayed at that speed long enough, and we could travel at 99.9 repeating ending in a 9, that we could catch up to the line of creation of existence itself? if so, could we pass it?

What's the sphere at 2:50? CRB? Where can I buy one?

So my understanding from this is; if we can figure out how to create a device that creates 'space' (within Space) (a controlled mini big bang if you will) we would be able to 'ride' the space faster than light relative to our starting point without breaking the laws of relativity ?

Has anyone ever thought that there was no beginning i mean there is weirder things to think

So, if the energy of a particle cannot be set to zero, does that mean that we cannot destroy that particle?
