Silverlit's exciting Alpha Y Easy Control Helicopter incorporates a new system for flying, featuring an auto take off and hover facility using onboard sensors, plus a special damping effect on the throttle control to allow the helicopter to climb slowly and steadily. Simply switch to manual mode, to restore the conventional controls and steer the model by moving the transmitter joy stick left or right, whilst operating the throttle to take off, hover and land. The inexpensive Alpha Y two channel infrared chopper offers the best build quality available, and features contra rotating rotors for superb directional stability. Suitable for youngsters and adults, the Alpha Y is stable and fun to fly indoors in a reasonable size room. Remarkably robust made of impact resistant injection moulded plastic, the helicopter features an LED spotlight for added effect. The Alpha Y is 20cm long, incorporates a lightweight lithium polymer battery and will fly for up to ten minutes, whilst recharging direct from the transmitter in approximately half an hour. The attractive Silverlit Power in Air packaging includes a fully assembled helicopter supplied ready-to-fly, complete with a pre-installed two channel proportional wide beam infrared control system, an informative flight manual and two spare tail rotors. The futuristic Alpha Y is available on bands A, B or C to allow up to three different Silverlit models to be flown together.
