Flat Earth Model with Planets in Motion

Using Google Sketchup I created this 3D model of 7 Wandering Stars (Planets), the Sun and Moon. This video represents the Sun, Moon and 7 said Planets for two 28 day Lunar Cycles, and is accurate to within 10° of arc during the first few frames for January 14, 2016. But is not an accurate representation of time. NOT TO SCALE. This 3D model is not meant to be an entire cosmological model. The Moon slowly lags behind the Sun until it surpasses it, this creates Lunar Phases. If you observe Mercury (small and red), you can see its retrograde motion throughout the animation. In the beginning Mercury is near the Sun then moves away, reaches its furthest point and moves back toward the Sun (retrograde), and surpasses it. Venus also displays retrograde with relation to the Sun but requires more time to be observed, here you can only see it moving backwards, along with all the others, progressively slower from Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus to Neptune being the slowest and displaying minimal precession.

There has been a small mistake. Mercury's path must be below the sun, at least partially, otherwise transit is impossible.

How does this model account for short winter days and long summer days in northern latitudes?

Have you explained why the sky objects float overhead, but they do no vary in size to match it, when observed?
That alone debunks this model. -
How does your model include the sun's path varying thru the heavens by up to 1/2 degree error?
The astronomers know its from the gravitational perturbation from mainly Jupiter and Saturn, in a 12 year and 29 year cycle. -

The sun in your model does not appear 3000 miles away as flat earthers claim it is! And how can there be 24 hours each day during the summer and winter if your sun moves at the same pace throughout the year; it is just like a gear, if the circulation is shorter, then the time it takes to make one revolution will be shorter, if the circulation is longer it will take more time for one revolution!

I got some questions. I always thought that Mercury and Venus always being near the horizon during sun sets and sun rises was because the Earth is round. Why is Mercury and Venus always near the sun? And what is with the Retrograde motions of the planets?

Haha another FE model completely ignoring the rotation of the stars south of the equator. Equator is real right??? the path of the sun dosent make since in your model when the sun is directly over head it would appear to move much much faster then slow down as its... let's called it setting in your ridiculous model.

There are about 1000 totally obvious problems with this, but lets start with a simple one:
Where are the stars? If the stars are far away then the positions of the planets for different observers would appear very different, through simple parallax. You would be in the absurd position of claiming that two observers separated by a few hundred miles would see planets projected against different constellations. -
The flat earth theory fails to explain why we observe the Sun from sunrise to sunset in one line throughout the day. According to the flat earth theory the sun (or the small spotlight, whatever!) should be seen as coming from an angle during sunrise, then at the middle and then descending to the same angle when mirror-reversed during sunset. In reality we see the sunrise and sunset and mid-day all through one line.

My Challenge To You!!!! By using calculus I'll wager you any amount of money that I can calculate and tell you exactly when & where (in the heavens) Venus or whatever planet you choose, will next appear to go retrograde in the sky. As I said before I'll use the mathematics of Calculus which by the way, only works on a heliocentric solar system and with a globe Earth & planets model. And you will be free to use whatever mathematics you like, that corresponds to your flat Earth model. I'll make my prediction based on Calculus & you can make yours based on your Flat Earth Mathematics and we'll see who gets it right! Fair Enough? YES? I'm very interested to see how you'll weasel your way out of this one LOL!

Its a good effort but ne problem I see right away with this model is the width of Australia - it looks twice the width of the Lower 48 USA.
In reality the USA is slightly wider - this fact is easily proven by driving or flying East to West.
If it is not to scale it can't be accurate. If the Earth actually is flat then mapping it accurately would be easy. -
at least on the flat earth model, we don't have a north pole in the middle of the arctic ocean

So the moon landing is a hoax, because we're in a dome and can't make it, but the moon is inside, and we can't just go over to it, it looks like the distance from France to Russia.
It shouldn't have any pull because, obviously on this model it's a midget.
Why doesn't someone just fly a plane up there?
