Felix Baumgartner, an Austrian daredevil skydiver, has become the only human being to beat the speed of sound (767 miles/hour) after skydiving from 127,852 feet (approx. 39 km) above the earth at an incredible speed of 843.75 miles/hour (1,357.6 kph). the horizon is flat because you cant see far enough with the naked eye, i
live on the beach and there is an island 100ks offshore, i can never
see it. so it makes sense that there is no curve on the horizon as you
would need to see about 5 times that far to see any curvature. can you
please explain how i can see the 3D image and curvature of the moon with
a decent telescope? can you please explain how the oceans tides work on
a flat earth? -
