So basically, just head north from the minefield until you reach a powerstation. Keep heading north following the electrical towers and you'll eventually find it :D

The problem with me is that I have downloaded content so now when I go to the crash site I get beamed up into a spacecraft and get a new quest and new weapons. Like the alien atominizer and the alien disetegrater and finally the drone cannon.
