@Usedpantalons THANK YOU!!!
-
I know some of Jon Hopkins music was used in this episode. one track that was definitely used was light through the veins. maybe vessel was another track?
-
@dsire07 the music im looking for is the bit used in 48:30 in the documentary.
-
Does anyone know the music at 48:30 ? It's so cool but no one knows >.<
-
@MasterIsOut Not sure what this music is in this clip, I know its not Sigur Ros though. Sorry :(
-
16:19 Sigur Ros Olsen Olsen, 19:40 Sigur Ros Gong, 46:40 Sigur Ros Von, and 51:17 Sigur Ros Flugufrelsarinn. I think that's all the Sigur Ros in the video, hope I didn't miss any.
-
Most of the music in the doc is from Sigur Ros, if you have specific songs you are looking for I'll do my best to identify them for you.
-
@RemnantsOfBeauty I'm trying to find this too, it reminds me of Coldplay for some reason but i know its not that
-
@dannyjamesbooks Nope, it didnt have vocals, it was a really ambient little errier doodle that repeated
-
anyone know the name of the little repeating eerier doodle song they keep playing on this episode? sounds like its from solaris or something
-
does anyone know the song from this advert on bbc2?
-
@sept1ne I will try to avoid being really really nasty about Professor Brian "too many teeth" Cox who tweeted once that he was finding it hard to get down to writing something and I suggested he turned off twitter LOL Horizon used to be the top end of the science material and Tomorrow's World the popular bit - but it looks like Horizon has been left to carry the can on its own. I just wish one of the 19th century metrication bills had passed and we would not be in this halfway house.
-
@johncrwarner No. But I suppose the BBC is trying to bring science to everyone with Horizon, so if it helps to give the quantities in other units that people might be more used to dealing with, they will. I know what you're saying about less "real science". Try watching one of Brian Cox's latest documentaries. That is probably also to make it more accessible for people without good scientific knowledge.
-
@sept1ne But then do we need to have a narrator say this again even in other units? I got it first time round - perhaps a few seconds less could mean they talk real science for a bit longer.
-
@johncrwarner To give the presenter something to say that isn't exactly the same as what the person interviewed just said.
-
@johncrwarner I know right ehm right?
