extend C drive with Unallocated space but not with Free space partition

Can't extend C: drive with Free space partition: When i try to extend C: with Unallocated and Free space partition, i found, it is possible to extend with unallocated space but not with free space partition. So, i converted free space into unallocated, then i extended my local disk C: drive. Can't extend primary system drive with free space partition

even though there's unallocated space on another disk it wont allow me to extend the C drive but will allow me to extend other drives, any idea?

how do you delete a free space? It doesn't work for me!
