About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
UC Berkeley Professor Alex Filippenko, one of the world's most highly cited astronomers — also voted by students the ""Best Professor"" on campus a record nine times — offers a look into the University of California’s innovative astronomy education and research efforts. Studies at the observatory include stellar explosions, Earth-like planets orbiting other stars, and giant black holes. Filmed at Discover Cal event, April 7, 2015 http://discovercal.berkeley.edu/

I love scientists, I hate politicians

Can someone please explain this to me? I am literally losing my sanity. I discovered a solution to Quantum Gravity 10 years ago. It proved to be amazingly powerful and solved almost every other mysteries in physics. For the past 10 years I have made predictions using my theory and everyone has been vindicated. I wrote to as many scientist such as Alex Filippenko and no one cares to reply, contact me or find out more. I even went to my local university who thought me astronomy and they just don't care to find out. All they are after is money. I am really in shock and extremely frustrated. I could offer them my solution tomorrow and they can start using it, yet they rather spend billions and decades on project that led nowhere, such as String Theory. Alex says to an audience @1:24:00 in this video that he does not have a solution to Dark Mater and Dark Energy and if you have then lets write a paper and win the NP. I have the solution and I am looking for someone on top to prove it so WHY IS HE NOT REPLYING TO MY EMAIL?

Very engaging, but I can't help but to think "Wilson!" from House...

Only the real Dr. Fillipenko could have convinced Luke & Laura to give their storied love another chance ...
( You jelly, fake "Dr." Phil? ) -
does this guy ever give a lecture that doesn't end with fundraising?

Alex is a great man! =)
