For years we've been trying to figure out how it all began, but have we finally figured out how everything came to be? + + + + + + + + Previous Episode: What Is Dark Matter’s Role In The Formation Of Galaxies?: https://youtu.be/vkMlH-6msfQ?list=PLwwOk5fvpuuLUsdHbX81DIAsiBqQrilX_ + + + + + + + + Sources: Brief History Of The Universe: http://www.astro.ucla.edu/~wright/BBhistory.html “The Planck time: 10-43 seconds. What Is the Big Bang Theory?: http://www.space.com/25126-big-bang-theory.html “The Big Bang Theory is the leading explanation about how the universe began. At its simplest, it talks about the universe as we know it starting with a small singularity, then inflating over the next 13.8 billion years to the cosmos that we know today." According to the Big Bang theory, the temperatures in the early universe were so high that fusion reactions could take place." How the Big Bang Theory Works: http://science.howstuffworks.com/dictionary/astronomy-terms/big-bang-theory4.htm “Because of the limitations of the laws of science, we can't make any guesses about the instant the universe came into being. Instead, we can look at the period immediately following the creation of the universe." Not only that, but turns out the ingredients are a little bit different, too. And not only that, but the way they’re mixed isn’t quite what we expected, either." The Big Bang: http://science.nasa.gov/astrophysics/focus-areas/what-powered-the-big-bang/ “Astronomers combine mathematical models with observations to develop workable theories of how the Universe came to be." Our Expanding Universe: Age, History & Other Facts: http://www.space.com/52-the-expanding-universe-from-the-big-bang-to-today.html “The universe was born with the Big Bang as an unimaginably hot, dense point. When the universe was just 10-34 of a second or so old — that is, a hundredth of a billionth of a trillionth of a trillionth of a second in age — it experienced an incredible burst of expansion known as inflation, in which space itself expanded faster than the speed of light." + + + + + + + + DNews Plus is built for enthusiastic science fans seeking out comprehensive conversations on the geeky topics they love. the reason why matter survived is the exloding atoms triggered antimatter seeing its more volatile then matter

Ok, nice video. Yeah, there is nothing new for those who have already watched this kind of videos, but it was funny to watch, probably because you're charismatic. 😂 But at the end you said that we don't have any conception about space-time before the big bang. However, you didn't say that the big bang created the space-time itself anywhere throughout the video. I don't know, I think you could have talked about this too. Sorry if I'm not very coherent, English is not my primary language.
-
Quick question how could there be a universe before, if we know that there was nothing in the first place..
-
Fucking piece of shit scientist. So they killed Pigeons so they could listen to nothing. So if scientist can kill animals because they are annoying then why can't I kill scientist because i find them annoying? You say there is no God so then murder is not wrong yes?
-
A new big bang theory I was thinking about some time ago and that actually could explain some things ( I think).
Don´t think of big bang as the explosion it was but what the soundwave from that explosion could do, The sound of creation! -
tell us what you think......................hmmmmm...........i think you guys are doing a great show, thanks
-
did'nt really explained much...
-
This is so interesting! Anyone have theories about before the big band?
-
All the science and theories to explain what all the universe is made of and how they become is very understandable. The part that blows your mind to comprehend is the collapsing to nothing, if the big bang exploded in every direction for billions of light years and slows over time then how does it all come back collectively and collapse into nothing.
Oh and where does this nothing go? Is it sitting dormant waiting with this dot that's billions of degrees. It just blows your mind lol -
Sorry if my english is not good, will appreciate if someone answers me
1. If you assume that big bang theory is right, which is the the beginning of time and space, so the universe is necessary finite...
2. The Bing Bang theory results only from the general theory of relativity. It does not take into accounts the other forces. So before 400 000years after the beginning, where atoms have first been created, there are a lot more interaction than just gravitation...? The Bing Bang theory only takes into account gravitational interaction, so we could not be allowed to tell what happened before without taking into account all these other interaction.
In fact we have not proof what happened before 400 000years..
3. How can scientist be sure that the Red Shift is caused by expansion ? Because we had to invent dark matter, dark energy and inflation in order to make that the theory of relativity still valid. It is just speculation. Maybe theory of relativity is missing something, and so theory of bing bang is false.
4. Why are we allowed to say the universe is about 13,8 billion years old while we do not even know what happened behind time planck... -
I dont like this : whe don t know what is going on....
-
you guys should also make a video about the so called world inside the earth like Agartha. pls. that would cool
-
I do always watch this show before I go to sleep. This is a type of show that would help you understand things without getting board thanks to trace.
-
wait hold on..did you aspect universe diameter.... ? you better don't think about it
-
You said that there was nothing... this isn’t true thae energy was alredy there the Big Bang just expanded it and it wasn’t an explosion it was more like inflating a baloon very fast really, but not quite an explosion
-
The sausage also includes actual sausage.
-
. . . the universe is infinite and the big bang happened everywhere - we are NOT the center of anything.
-
10 billion lightyears in diameter? no. Much more.
-
How fast is time actually?
-
3:20 "Create Energy" really? the first law of thermodynamics states that energy can be transformed from one form to another, but cannot be created or destroyed. Check your facts
