'Evil Exists, Therefore God Exists' - Atheism Proved Wrong
About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
I am sure that many atheists who may be reading this will be familiar with the idea of the 'problem of evil', concerning the paradoxical nature of a supposedly omnibenevolent god allowing fatal evils to occur routinely throughout the world. Yet I must say that I have never before come across such an audacious claim that not only does the problem of evil not disprove God, but that it in fact does the opposite and proves the authenticity of theism. I'd like to give appropriate thanks to the two individuals who designed and created my logos. Frank Turek is a clown

Its more if satan exist god does, not if evil exist and satan clearly exist ex. satanic cults, ritual abuse and why would almost all the most powerful people on earth be in satanic cults if satan isnt real? No hate just saying
-
He's using a bastardisation of the stolen concept fallacy. In fact, his argument amounts to just another argument from incredulity - "I can't see how X could exist without God, therefore God exists."
-
You atheists will be so wrong, as we are in ends of times and there are many biblical signs to prove it. Many christians say that we are in the last days of Noha and Jesus is coming back soon. Open your ears and eyes, and be ready!

Hahahaha
-
Slight correction. Objective moral values exist, absolute moral values do not.
-
I wanted to say something funny about religious people, but nothing is funnier than what comes out of their own mouths.
-
This clown (Turek) was DEMOLISHED by our dear friend and comrade Christopher Hitchens in debate years ago. How sad to see nothing has changed.
-
Well, someone needs a very big ego to think that morality could be objective *cough**Sam Harris**cough*

I go by the premise of good can not exists without the presence of evil, so by the bible god was good and god created evil in the form of Lucifer. This is impossible as God could not be good with the absence of evil so If you follow this thought God would have had to be evil and good. SO god was good but God was evil that is the only way you could try to work it out. So is Christianity a religion of a good and loving God or a God of petty jealousy and hatred they worship.

Eating meat does hurt people, as it requires more than just eating the food directly
-
If the statement evil exists therefore God exists were true (it's not) the conclusion I get is that god is a complete c*nt who deserves no respect at all.
-
can i eat a human and it be alright , no because we have a social contract

Why are you an athiest? Why aren't you agnostic, if you're as subjective as you claim to be you'd be an agnostic. I'm not saying there's a god but I'm not saying there isn't either. Enter agnosticism. There's no proof either way. I highly doubt (if there is a god) that it/he/she is represented correctly in any religion. However I have to wonder... if the universe started with the big bang, what made the big bang happen? We will probably never know how everything came to be. I actually hate the idea of a god to be honest, I prefer to think of it more in terms of a creator. Something that started it all but ultimately has no control something like a person running a simulation, you input data and let the chips fall where they may. Who knows really though, that's a single idea.

It's quite simple what he's trying to argue.
Everything you can think of that is good is good. God (supposedly the Christian God) should make you feel all buttery and sunshine happy, because Jesus loves you and yada yada. So, since good is full of butterflies, and God is full of butterflies, good is absolute proof of God. It's argument by association.
That's how dumb these arguments can get. -
What episode of wretched was this? And who is on the set? Is it a promo they are doing for a new DVD?
-
where are all the atheist who believe that? must be moron's.
-
Evil exists, so does goodness, look in the mirror you're capable of both.

empathy is pretty much i scratch your back you scratch mine. as far as the second question : god can indeed be all loving but if that is so then he is not all powerful if god is all powerful then he cannot be all loving.
