April 14 -- An unmanned Falcon 9 rocket from billionaire Elon Musk's Space Exploration Technology Corp. blasted off Tuesday on a resupply mission to the International Space Station. The rocket, carrying its Dragon cargo spacecraft and 4,300 pounds (1,950 kilograms) of supplies and payloads, rumbled aloft at 4:10 p.m. New York time from Cape Canaveral, Florida. The company missed again in its attempt to recover the rocket’s first stage a short time later when it landed on the droneship, but "too hard for survival," according to a Twitter post by Musk.
