Earth Is Not Orbiting The Sun in the way we were taught More to do with Something Wrong With The Sun Moon & Earth series. STOP PRESS !! !! ..... View New OFFICIAL Info: 4 Magnetic Poles Forming On The Sun In May 2012 PLEASE Click Here http://youtu.be/lxLcDiiFfCM Here we find an understanding of Why the Earth & our solar system do not actually orbit the Sun as taught, "Rather", We follow or better still, are dragged by the Sun in a Spiral Pattern through the universe & time. This video offers explanations how, besides spinning on its axis and rotating as if going 'Around' the Sun, the Earth is shown to 'Follow' the Sun's movement through the Milky Way galaxy, in a continuous Spiral, not a Flat elliptical plane, thus we find a 3D universe as opposed to the accepted 2D. ** Believe it or not, there is no empirical evidence that the Earth actually orbits the sun ! ** This compilation of videos runs thus: "The solar system's motion thru space by The Resonance Project / Nassim Haramein" This simple animation was created by Nassim Haramein and The Resonance Project Foundation This is a video clip that every human should see. Many of us have been taught about how the solar system works by viewing a physical model that has the sun in the middle with the planets going around and around in a simple circular orbit without properly accounting for the motion of the sun (aprox. 450,000 miles per hour). Because the both sun and the galaxy are moving through space, the Earth spirals an incredible distance through space in a year's time. How far the Earth moves depends on the reference point you are using for something "stationary" or "background" even though all objects in the universe are in motion. The Earth rotates at 0-1040 mi/hr (depends on latitude) The Earth orbits the sun at aprox. 66,629 mi/hr The sun orbits the galactic centre at aprox. 447,000 mi/hr In just considering how fast the sun is moving, we know the Earth travels at least 3,918,402,000 miles in a years time! (as it also orbits around the sun) Total speed of the Earth moving through space is difficult to approximate do to the combination of motions. Using Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) radiation it is estimated the total motion of the Earth through space is aprox. 1,342,000 mi/hr Or 11,763,972,000 miles in 1 year! (which is still only 0.2% the speed of light!) The old model might make one picture being back where you started after a year of time has past, when in fact, you are over 11 BILLION miles from where you were a year ago! I hope this video helps people to visualize what the motion of the Earth in our solar system looks like. if that is the case what does the universe move around

Every one know it is believed that the whole univers is going through space all together, but when it comes to earth sun and moon and so on... who was it said that everything is relative. from a point of view from the earth we are just going around the sun. Pete

Yeah as if this year and decade range isn't the least bit significant. Have you heard of this technological complexity of connectivity called "The Internet"? It's a wonderous thing, you may have heard of it. It allows for the creativity and communication of all experienceable permutations of classical electronic resonance across all lands and cultures. Why don't you think that there's some sort of correlation between that and the Mayan prediction? It's more than just another number. Another day.
-
Actually the stars do follow but at different paths and speeds and the sky does change ever so slowly over time. Even the Mayans were able to figure this out and actually incorporated this knowledge into their calendar system. That's why the 2012 doomsday'ers got it wrong. They confused the larger cycle in the Mayan calendar with some kind of end. It isn't. The Mayans were simply marking that larger cycle like we would mark sunrise, sunset as parts of a day or the full moon as part of a month.

Indeed. Uou could take that further and further, the decision of which frame of reference to use always being completely arbitrary. Even considering the earth at the centre - that supposedly debunked idea - is no less valid; something the video description does allude to. Taking things at solar-level though is definitely the most geometrically elegant, relevant, and easy to teach set-up, unless of course 'spiralling' suits some fluffy non-point you're trying to get across.

A very good but basic depiction of our travels through our galaxy. One important factor is that everything in our solar system does not only orbit our Sun. Would you assume the moon orbits the earth? Or would it the Sun? A: Both but the Earth has more of an influence due to distance. Mass = Gravity Everything orbits each other. For example: The Moon and the Earth orbit each other at approx 4805 Km's from the center of the earth (Mass/Distance ratio). The Earth some 100kms from our Suns middle

If you consider the planetary movement in relation to the sun then no, we do move in an orbit around the sun, but if you consider it in relation to other stars or a fixed point in space (though because of expanding space one does not really exist) then yes it would be a spiral.

not sure if your right but it is a theory my mind cannot now ignore. thanks mate a new s thought to ponder andy freek

This still has the earth orbiting 'around' the sun, which is a great distance.
-
This is true. We learned in Astronomy that ALL bodies in space dance around each other. There is no stationary position for bodies like the sun. The same amount of gravitational force is pulling on the sun as the planets. It moves as planets try to pull it. If there were 2 suns of the same size, they would BOTH have a circular orbit around each other. ALSO because of this effect, the moon actually "leap frogs" around the earth, it doesn't orbit like we think.
-
so if your theory is in spiral motion so the systems here including the galaxies should be in spiral movement as well but this was not been observed from the telescope by the scientist...always the stationary star or sun is there and it's not moving away or accross due with their red or blue shift characteristics...your perception is good but lacks of scientifical clues..but anyhow we respect each opinions..
-
well, obviously.. everything moves, it depend on the observer perspective. I would caution the usage of softer language than "everything you are taught is wrong", it's a matter of perhaps higher truth.

The diagram at 5:01 looks very similar to the sun dial at coral castle..

*continued* ...The universe is both infinitely big and infinitely small. Everything has both children and parents. In physics we like to think there's a beginning and an end to everything, but it's impossible to imagine a point in time where nothing exists, unless our entire reality is all just an illusion! And every time I come to this realization, it makes me wonder if all black holes may just be leading into another big bang..
-
The universe is insanely vast. If you were to stand 1mile from the sun (for the sake of argument), the sun would blast by you so fast, you wouldn't know what just happened. However, from the perspective of millions or billions of light years away, you haven't moved a single bit. You see the same stars because while they're moving very fast, they're so far away that it doesn't look like they're moving. In 100,000 years, you'd see a different design of stars.
-
I must say, your all most right. Keep digging!!!
-
Point taken. The 2D model is just easier to explain to a grade schooler the orbits of the planets relative to the sun.

Good video. I was pleasantly surprised, I thought I was walking into a fundamental Christian rhetoric video, lol. I already knew this, although I can't say whether I learned it from a college course or just through research I've done in my free time.
-
This is all true, earth moves, sun moves, solar system moves, the galaxy moves, the universe moves, thats logic, thanks for the video =)

how does the moon affect the waves in our ocean when it has no gravity?
