Nice setup Jim. I was thinking about doing a solar back up but instead I opted for a 5500 watt generator that runs on natural gas. We had a 5 day blackout and I was really glad to have a continuous power supply 24/7 for all but the largest appliances like ac and elect. oven. In winter I can run the heating system with no problem so that's a huge plus. BTW-I like your message near the end. I practice surrendering of the self through meditation and I have also found god. To my total amazement, god isn't anything that I could have possibly imagined from my previous limited point of view. The perfection of god is not tainted by any physical associations, limitations or separations that the mind of mortal man suffers from. The concept of "I" or "Me" is an illusion as is the concept of death. The physical world is a test to see if we fall under it's spell and suffer or if we remain true to what is infinite, changeless and nameless that lies beyond this limited physical realm. This is why Jesus surrendered his body to the cross. He transcended all this physical illusion of a separate self and attained enlightenment so that others could see this truth for themselves. Awaken from this dream of a separate self and find what Jesus found. Christ consciousness is not a shared space. For it to be a shared there would have to be two. For here there is only one.

I have all that hardware pretty much in stock and have built the most ridiculous crap.....I like your inspirational video until you left from the structural tips you were supposed to elaborate on. I see that setup as potentially a twister, have you noticed any of that going on in high winds?

Nice transition.....stand up and be proud. Being God's salt and His light is NOT an option. We do live on a parking meter and eventually we all run out of quarters.
I did my 400 watt (24 amps on a good day) with 500 amp hour battery bank for $1500. No Fed Tax credit here as it went into my RV. I also built my cables, using 6 AWG ground, twisted copper. Went to Home Depot and bought 4 AWG connectors and married two wires into one connector. Took a little more time, but well worth the savings. By doubling up on the 6 gauge, I felt it was plenty for my 2500/5000 inverter. My draw is max 20 amps at nor more than an hour....normal is 5 amps As far as my panels, using Renogy. Mono panels and well built, 1 buck a watt. -

Good technical overview of your system. Regarding the assertion that it's typically "fear or pride" that drives the doubt of God, I believe you are over-simplifying matters. Many of us find the existence of an invisible God quite doubtful, and that doubt is rooted in reason, not emotion. If you find peace in the belief of God, no harm, no foul. But, please don't assign motivations to others that disagree with you without understanding their position. Prejudice is rooted in such assumptions. Cheers!
