DIY Solar 5 kW Roof System Installed in a Weekend

This is a DIY solar 5 kW system that was installed in 2010 as a weekend project. I built this with 2 other people in two days, from the roof penetrations to the installation of the panels. An electrician connected the wiring and hooked the inverter into the grid.
