8. This music is not in the ride...Actually this is a little bit everywhere in discovery land....It is not special to Space mountain...Thanks for the audio I have been loocking for this track everywhere. 
9. I took a small tape recorder to Paris back in 1997 and recorded the music near Space Mountain coming from small speakers in the surrounding area. I have been looking for it ever since and thought OMG this is it - but although the first few bars are similar it is not it. It had a very surreal quality. Definitely for SM, kind of like a prelude. Any ideas ?
10. Yep... I love Verne and was choked when I was finally able to get to Paris in 2008 only to find that the ride was changed to be... well... just like every other Space Mountain.
