1. Lovely! I've been looking for some Dinky models, particularly the Thunderbirds merchandise.
   
   Great job with this! I wasn't fond of the green either.
2. can you still pick the metal eagles up
3. Anyone knows the ref. for the green and blue paint for the restoration of these vehicles ???

Hi I have an Eagle made by MECCANO LTD dinky toys EAGLE ITV LICENSING LIMITED 1974 AND I WOULD BE UNCOMFORTABLE TO DO THIS TO MY EAGLE BUT LIKE THE IDEA OF IT LOOKING LIKE THE SHOW I DO NOT LIKE IT IN GREEN BUT MY EAGLE IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITON MY ONE HAS RED THRUSTERS AND BOOSTERS SO I WILL BUY AN OLD WRECKED ONE

   GERRY ANDERSON USED A 22" INCH AND A 44" INCH MODELS IN HIS SHOW BACK IN THE 1970'S SHOWS
5. Have you ever tried or thought of using a small sandblaster versus using the solution? You did a fantastic job but if the stuff is that dangerous maybe need a different method?

9. I found using Nitromors a lot easier for paint removal.

13. Don't you miss how toys used to be made. I remember metal toys throwing them about hitting them against walls leaving them in mud come back days later and playing with them all again. If you did that with toys now they just break.
