ok, so I know this pickup is high in the mids and treble. Think itll give me enough punch and heavy in the low end for rhythm playing? Like sylosis style rhythm chugging
-
That's some great tone you got there.
-
I installed an X2N into my first guitar which is an Ibanez GRX70 - one of those jumpstart pack models. It's now as if the devil himself bestowed an instrument from hell unto me. And it was good.

Nice, brutal tone man. I am thinking of getting new pickups for my stock ones in Petrucci JP60...I've tried Tone Zone (which I loved) and Crunch Lab in bridge in past, but was thinking of trying a more powerful pickup. Did the pickup swap make a big difference in your high gain playing in your opinion, amp and all other settings being equal?

It's videos like this that make my musical investment decisions way easier! Thanks.. i'll definitely be installing some X2n's in my baby really soon!!

1:52 LOL

Everything about his technique pisses me off. Otherwise, alright demo.
-
Can you please give me advice, what is your pickup height?
I tried placing it high, but it seems like magnetic field is ruining string intonation. -
good stuff man. I have the same stack and iceman except I put Seymour Duncan nazgul/sentinel combo in it.
-
If you were to install a Dimarzio neck pickup with the X2N in the bridge, which pickup would you choose?
-
Thanks! I usually have the gain at 7, bass at 4, treble at 6, & mids at 7. It's a really bassy amp with lots of low end

I love your tone :) I'm getting one of these half stacks can you tell me your settings?
