Ibanez INF2 vs The DiMarzio Tone Zone This is all my orginal work. For your (and my) convenience: 0:13 vs 1:28 0:55 vs 2:09 I thought it would be beneficial to demonstrate the before and after sounds of these 2 pickups. I used: Ibanez RG470AH Line 6 GX Fruity Loops 9 Guitar Rig 5 Keywords: Ibanez Pickup and DiMarzio Pickup Ibanez INF2 and Tone Zone pickup Ibanez Pickup vs Tone Zone Pickup

The Tone Zone was definitely the one. it sounded fuller and had more clarity to it. you have a great distortion going on.
-
The tone has good harmonics, but wiñl show imperfections

So, did you hear a difference? The zone might have just a tad more clarity but that's it. IMHO. Don't believe the hype~

dude what amp are you using sounds killer.
-
Sounds awesome. What model is your Ibanez?
-
you are playing through a 5150 yes ?

To anyone who uses the infinty 1 and 2, I suggest searching up the "half air mod".
I did this mod, which removes the metal piece below the adjustable pole pieces. I also swapped the INF2's alnico magnet with the INF1's ceramic. This reduced the muddiness of the neck pickup, while still allowing the bridge to sound nice.
Overall, these mods made the pickups much smoother. The neck is less boomy, and the bridge is less sharp and harsh. -
Tone Zone kills INF2.

Tone zone for the win. Nice playing!
-
Really great demo thanks for the video.

The INF pu's are really not all that bad, and i think if they were put up against epi, squire,LTD,etc
stock pu's they would be the best of the bunch. -
The Tone Zone sounds fuller than the INF2, but both pickups are nice!
-
funny i prefer the stock Inf pickup..
-
why is the tone zone a good lead players pickup only? it sounds great for rhythm. big and clear and middy with high gain.

I'm in love with the Tone Zone pup, same thing here. For a more early Van Halen, Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, or Michael Lee Firkins kind of tone, I can dial all of those up. If I want more metal sounds, the other is good, or Duncan DIstortions. There's really no "better" but my taste is that TZ color and how it huffs and puffs and breathes.
