Ⓦ Dead Space 2 Walkthrough ▪ Hard Core - Chapters 5, 6, 7, and 8

1. Was on the beginning of chapter 8 (last save at chapter 4), was flying through space *the part where you dodge the obstacles*, I never fucking die at that part. But I was so nervous that I accidentally hit the side of a piece of debris.
   Nice, just sat here for 3 fucking hours doing this only to die by some shit that never fucking kills me before.

4. i miss the contact beam on chapter 7 and now it doesnt appear on the market
5. Finally got to chapter 8. After dying 2 on the same spot on the part where you use the window to suck out the necromorphs. Took me from 4 pm till now (10 pm) to do all this. I really need to stop rushing after I die. I do remember what to do but I jut rush too much. Anyways thanks for the guide you're so good at this game 
6. I finally made it to chapter 8 but I saved at 1:10:10 because if I had been one-shot by the gimlets after 2h30 of playing I would have thrown my controller on my TV
7. Hey guys. I was using this guide to make through hardcore mode, that's why I'm posting this here. I've realized I can save more than 3 times on hardcore mode, without using cheats of any kind. I don't know if it's a bug or glitch and I've found nothin on web about this. I'm playing the PC version: when you save the game for the fisrt time and uses the same terminal or any other during the current game, it accuses you have only 2 more saves. However, if you quit the game (don't need exit to windows), load this last save, and try to save it again, the game says you have 3 saves. An it works. I was able to save at least 5 times while was playing doing this and the game keep saying I have 3 saves to use. Unfortunatelly I can not post a video, but is a quite simple process. Please try on PS3 and Xbox and reply. See if it works for you. Thanks. (PS. sorry my bad english).
8. The problem with this game is that it's completely random. 
   I died at 55:20 because the black necro spawned above me an one-shot me although my RIG was entirely blue. 
   I also died at 1:09:25 because the pregnant released little shits while I only had shot its limbs.
   Fuck.
9. I love the death cries of the cysts. Weeeeeeeeuuuu weeeeeeeee xD They remind me of the plaga death cries from RE4, which I loved too.

    The only thing I did different was before I went in for the glass shatter at 48:26 , I went back to the shop to use the Refurbish Plasma cutter to close it. After that I moved it back into the shop. I did the ripper fire many time and got bad results. hope this helps

12. So far I just have a plasma cutter and did my second save on disc 2 at the beginning after beating the leaper and the puker or whatever its name is....
13. Just died on the little fire that i didn't know it could hit you, when you fight the boss at the end of chapter 8. Just wasted more than 2 hours of my life. fuck this game.

15. You don't ever talk in your walkthroughs. Not much a of walkthrough if you don't say anything, it might as well be a "lets play" instead of people simply watching you play the game.
16. Died at 46:30 from the little thing on the ground. 1 lapse of concentration just pissed 2 hours down the drain
17. Finally got started on Dead Space 2 today after getting the plat on Extraction :D
    
    You truly are amazing at this game, Wolfie. How many times did you complete Hard to the Core before you truly mastered it enough to make a video guide like this?

    Because of these guides I've managed to get to chapter 4 for the very first time... Ever!
    
    The only thing I did different was the section where you blew out the window and let the Necros get sucked out. Then you used the vent before the babies attack. Because I'm on PS3 the loading times look different to videos I've seen, so I ended up having to shoot my way out and then go.
