3:12 :- with respect to einstein's space-time gravity model,,doesn't our solar system look more like a cylinder rather than a plane ?!
-
why is the earth tilted??????
-
I saw you on TV.

I've wanted to pursue astronomy so bad but I'm afraid the job prospects are pretty hard in that field. But I'm glad I get to live thru with your videos. Thanks CrashCourse!
-
I really like your expression of how looking up at & learning about the night sky has been monumental with "instilling a permanent and endless sense of wonder & joy"..........it has for me also ;) <3
-
This was inspiring
-
the music was better in this episode

I love these programs but the guy talks a mile a minute without even taking a breath. Would be much, much better if he just s l o w e d down a bit and give us a chance to think and absorb what he is saying. But he doesn't....he just jumps right into the next topic without blinking, or giving us a chance to mull it over in our minds. Or is it just me?
-
good info but wish you guys would talk a bit slower in these videos. often talk too fast for ppl to catch everything

I admire how you included your passion for wonder and appreciation for the beautifully created universe at the end of the lesson!

It's really refreshing to hear someone say that a thing like astrology is silly, without being afraid to offend someone. Because, come one. Astrology is nuts.
-
Anyone else have to pause this to go read a million sci fi novels?
-
Any body else who watches this and then forgets everything the guy said after 10 seconds?
-
Where are the Green brothers?
-
I wanna pursue astronomy. It is amazing, yet scary.
-
you just taught me, in under 10 minutes, what took my Astronomy professor 2 weeks. And you did it more effectively
-
Thanks crash course I proved my science teacher wrong

One of the biggest mainstream lies of astronomers is that astrologers aren´t aware of Precession. Where do you think the astrological ages come from ? Both western and vedic astrology have used Precession for centuries. But anyway, why bother. This is a mainstream channel that´s great for what it´s worth and totally inadequate for going deeper or closer to historical truth. Perfect for people who won´t go out and do their homework because this type of information is the only type they can tackle. So, sir, you shine for those who are astrologically undereducated as yourself, feel proud sir, feel proud ! Shame you didn´t stick to what you do know about.
