that was quality processing...

What was the aperture size?

All very interesting but I didn't find it at all helpful. Just saying, for example, that we should use levels to make adjustments to the black point of the background is about as helpful as saying blah blah blah. It would be a lot more helpful if you actually showed us how to do it. I do not mean to be negative for the sake of it, and your finished image is way better than mine, I am only trying to be helpful. I have had Photoshop for years but have yet to make masks, or use a high pass filter etc, so showing on screen the work being done would be a great help for someone like me who has been an astronomer for years but new to using DSLR, all my previous astrophotography was done using a film camera. Thanks anyway.

This is just unreal, wow!!!
-
Are these RAW files ?
-
Amazing!!!!Well done :)
-
so does this mean you don't need a huge telescope if you are trying to take pictures?
-
So amazing photo!!! what camera and telescope did you use?
-
thanks for sharing, amazing

Amazing !

Is there any possibility to take an image of Andromeda WITHOUT a star tracker? Like maybe increasing the number of stacking images exponentially to make up for the less exposure? I know the picture will definitely not come out as good as yours, but would it be a bad idea to even try?
-
I don't understand how you could take 6 minute exposures without star trails? Can you elaborate?
-
Hello ..
amazing result.
What objectif did you use to picture it ? EFS 400 mm f: 4.6 ? -
I was wondering what scope and image collection you are using and what you would suggest the best setup would be for my Parks 12.5.
take care...........

Wow stunning Image, I'm thinking of investing a good scope for astrophotography your video is pushing me to pursue it a bit seriously. Excellent tutorial as well..Just enough detail.
-
Outstanding video and tutorial. Thank you very much. Can't wait to try this myself.
-
Beautiful demonstration, thanks for sharing.
-
can you post a video in detail, like how you processed
-
I am just starting astro imaging and your video is inspiring. Your image and music are just simply put artistic. Thanks for your description of the process. I just have one question, you mention individual colors are stretched in Curves and green channels are increased. So I am assuming you shot some frames using RGB filters, am I right? If you have not used the filters, how do you stretch colors in channels? Thank much.
