Garbage Pail Kids were the best! Our dear mother would confiscate them ON THE SPOT but that never stopped us from spending our allowance on them.

Pretty sure you can skip the cutscene. Just press every single button you can find!!!
But it would be nice if you didn't skip it when you got a new costume. Just to kinda showcase it. -

Don't worry about going too fast. If you get done early, you can do the DLC which doubles the length of the game. (I saw that you already have it when you started the game.)
