Cosmology of Kyoto - Exploration Adventure Game, Manly Playthrough Pt.3 (Final)
About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
Well, I managed to figure out how to beat the game faster than I thought. It's still not everything the game has to offer but at least this leaves it off with a sense of completion. I left in the references this time so the scenes have more context. The game is considered abandonware and can be downloaded here: http://t.co/q0UTzOhw Game Playlist: http://goo.gl/QuGQM "You are surprised and killed by a Manticore!"

Hmm... for such a game created from the 90s, not bad.
Not bad at all. -
At 10:10, you can shoot Nue in the eye with a bow and arrow. The only time you have to die in this game is the very end.

This was really interesting.. Thanks for playing this. In reference to something you said in part 1 or 2, I love hearing personal stories. People are fascinating. (About your mom praying and the spider going away etc)
-
I really enjoyed this LP, sir. Thanks for doing niche games! They need more attention. Super unique/interesting game.

Aggin. Aggin.
-
The actual Nue went out of their way to kill people, not just scare them.
-
Nigga. Nigga.
-
Hey, Manly, have you tried Mermaid Swamp?
-
I'm interested lol
-
Really nice to hear an informed commentary instead of the usual vapid & insipid. Thanks, Flirt!

Maybe someone could be interested in that youkai. Sorry. : (

It also killed him. What your point, anyway?
-
This whole game is one hell of a fever dream.
-
Thank you!!!

Glad you opened more references- like (4:25) “goes out on a moonless night to fetch his brother”, they give such atmosphere to game. Descriptions of hell are pretty horrific, like Dante’s 9 circles of hell. Ikko-Ikki rebels (19:39) - rising up of peasants, priests/monks & nobles equally as followers of Pure Land Buddhism against feudalist samurai rule. We are spiritually & intellectually nourished by understanding more than one religious & cultural tradition – thank you for this game.
-
Thank you. I missed the hell out of that. Thanks again! Good looking out

I loved this sent it to my mom who is a Rev and my father Wushu master in the states. I am Christain but I am always wanting to learn about everyone else beliefs. Doesn't hurt my faith at all but does let me know we are all connected in some type of way. This gave me a lot of history of Buddhism which I will study again. I think finding the likeness and not the differences to all will help a lot of poo. Great game, is it on Steam? Where can I buy it? And thanks for the play through.

My friend said the exact same thing.
-
the art style kinda reminds me of Monty python.

They couldn't have at least shown a still image of where you ended up at the end?
