I don't get why the light from CRB at (say) 0ra 0decl hasn't already gone by long ago, having started out when the universe was tiny, and is now an invisible wave backside because gone by at 180ra 0decl. What we see is far away now but wasn't far away when the photons were launched.

I'm pretty sure it should be 1 in 100,00. Both my old cosmology notes and text book say the temperature difference is roughly = 10^-5.

Is it 1 in 10,000 or 1 in 100,000?
