Cosmology in the Qur'an by Mirza Yawar Baig

The Qur'an is a book of signs. Not a book of science. Allah spoke about His creation so that we can acknowledge the Creator and worship Him without ascribing partners. Cosmology in the Qur'an highlights some of the cosmological signs that Allah mentioned which support our theories. Because after all He was the only witness to what actually happened.

I watched a YOUTUBE clip on the sound of a PULSAR and it is exactly as how it is described in the Holy Quran. What is amazing about this presentation is that it brings reality to the fore. The reality is: Belief is based on TRUSTING Allah's word as TRUTH. The fact that the sincere companions (ra) of Nabi Muhammad (s) believed in the UNSEEN world with utter conviction is testimony of their TRUST in Allah's word. We, with all the proven facts, have YET to take belief seriously. Too many of us have reduced our understanding of the Holy Quran to an elementary level. We have not as ordinary people, as part of our daily routine, made a point of researching what we read in the Holy Quran. When you watch and listen to all that has been said about cosmology in the Holy Quran, one cannot imagine the world without Allah, the Originator of all. What is further amazing is how the atheist in his everyday contemplation of Allah has not come to deny the exactitude of science and has produced nothing but, relies heavily of the natural order of things to make his point.
