   low visibility was due to "light bouncing off electrons" before temperature was cool enough for neutral atoms to form, but why didn't light keep bouncing off after ? it's the same electrons, now only pared to atoms. why now light isn't bouncing off ?

13. Here is our problem with astro science: We don't really know if we are right. We have created 'rules' for the universe based on our limited knowledge of living on one planet far away from our galactic center. We can't even go further than the moon ourselves to see what things really look and feel like. Our furthest probe, Voyager 1, lost the ability to 'see' right after we left the area of Pluto.
    At present, we are doing the equivalent of sticking our head out of the window to see if it is raining. We are so gung ho on going to Mars and we don't even have the technology to keep us alive in space itself, much less on another planet. We need to figure out how to keep our bodies from turning into bags of hyper-irradiated goo before we can even tackle the task of how to get there and how to live there.
    We just completed a year of having the same astronauts in space to see what changes their bodies go thru. Everything past that point is theoretical, meaning, we know there has to be a way, but we are not sure how. All of these guys offering trips to Mars don't know how to make it work, they are just hoping they figure it out soon.
    All that goes to this: it is great to try to figure out the universe, but first we need to be able to LIVE out there for a few years and be able to keep our bodies healthy and our minds intact, THEN, once we are out there, we can figure out how to see farther and star going to JUpiter and NEptune.
