Cosmic Journeys - Life: Destiny or Chance?
About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
Are the universe and its physical laws so fine-tuned that the rise of life is inevitable? Or is life a fluke, a lucky roll of cosmic dice? We look for the answer in the rise of two important components of life, dust and water. It turns out that the universe is laden with water, a byproduct of dust kicked out and spread around by supernovas and black holes.

chance...among the billions of multiverse with all possible conditions, conditions ideal for life in one is a chance..not destiny...

really like your videos, really dislike the narrator you guys always use, his voice is so sedative, just end up falling asleep 10min in

If there were a god, maybe life is that gods priority over all other things and we might have a supernatural destiny.....my only problem is that the question still stands :/ destiny or chance? Is it destiny or chance there is a god, as well as either destiny or chance that we are alone? The question will always remain. And why is destiny important? And why is chance seen in a negative light?

We humans are very lucky to have been evolved like we are today. Fact is that our planet survived extinction 5 times and so did automatically human life/development/evolution proces, so yes I would say we are lucky. Most likely we dont have a destiny, as most of us actually think, but we have chance to explore. Because of this, I think we are the only lifeform in the whole universe despite the discovery of exo planets and superearths. We are a fluke, a lucky roll and/or cosmic dice....untill proven otherwise...........

while the laws of nature are conducive to life, and therefore seem to designed that way, it doesn't take into the possibility of multi universes. We may live in one of countless universes, all with their own laws of physics. If so, that would make life just a spin off the wheel. This is something that we may never know.

Me commenting here, is it destiny or chance?

If an existent thing came into being not by virtue of *chance,* what are its distinguishing features and characteristics and can they be applied to the numerous and variegated phenomena of the universe?

Dear SpaceRip,
I love your sensible, excellent taste and pleasant videos and audio.
It is SO peaceful and serene watching these SpaceRip videos, unlike noisy and obnoxious narration with dark audio program music.
Please keep them coming! -
great doc

My channel shows that there are amazingly intelligent melodies encoded in mathematical constants in base 12.
The genetic code that tells a trees cells how to metabolize sugar is exactly the same as the code in our cells. What if all the little functional genetic code blocks are already written, hidden in mathematical constants in base 4?
Evolution would be a hodgepodge of assembly of each little functional block, and the origins of life would be an unimaginable resonance between tiny proteins and intangible mathematical information... the ultimate intelligent design
