I only want to cover the gray on my edges and do not want to use a harsh chemical. I do not want to dye or change the rest of my hair color, I just hate how the gray is coming in on the edges. What product would you recommend that I can do at home?
-
@lomzkak It is better to fill out the client record card for the color after the application (procedure), since it asks for the results, and you could know it after you have worked on the client. Thanks for you comment!

@ruty221 Ask as many questions as you like. I will tray to answer them as soon as I get them. I will check my channel more frequently to help you.
-
@ruty221 The test is made of 2 parts; written and practical. I have most of the practical operations, but the written could be learned from the Milady's Standard Cosmetology Textbook. Watch the videos, but also ask the kit companies if they have quick training or tutoring available. I used to train foreign students with one of the kit companies. My best advice is to go to beauty school, and attend at least the freshman portion of the course. But you got the test date, so good luck!

@morgansuckerpunch98 Yes, you can dye your hair back, but make sure to use a haircolor that has gold or warm base, otherwise you might get green, if you use any color with ash base. Gold base is the safest for going from light to dark.

@BeautyHealthTravel if u use sun in and it turns ur hair from light brown to light blonde can u dye it black or will it turn green?

@Dushie12 If the blunt cut is zero degree bob haircut, there is only one way to check it, and it is to check it the way you cut it, with no elevation. If the hair is cut "blunt" meaning straight across but with elevation (layers, but with the blunt movement of the scissors), you can cross check it by holding the hair opposite way that it was cut. If you first cut the hair on horizontal angle, check it holding it vertically. Layers could be blended by holding the hair on a diagonal angle.

@Dushie12 OMG i asked the wrong question I must have been tired oopss...I meant to ask you about cross checking a blunt cut please forgive me. How do you cross check a blunt cut and do you have any videos demonstrating that. Thanks
-
@Dushie12 In cosmetology, "blunt" could either mean (1) straight across cut with scissors, which is cutting the hair strand straight across, or, as some refer it: (2) a zero degree Bob Haircut. The first one could be done to any strand of hair regardless of its elevation; the second one has to be done on only zero degree elevation. The first one cannot be done by point cutting, razor, slide cutting, because the strand of hair is not cut straight across, but on an angle. I hope this helps!
-
Trick question ...when finish with a blunt haircut is it necessary to do a blunt cut ? If so how do you do so.
-
@Dushie12 You welcome! Coming up is an on-scalp bleach for a male client who wants his hair grayish blonde.

@BeautyHealthTravel Thanks and keep up the good work!
