as an alternative, i would guess that the fractal dimension would be phi :)

The reason I gave PI as the fractal dimension of the universe is because, if the universe is a fractal, then it must have a fractal dimension. Since we do live in a 3+ dimensional universe, I am "guessing" that the fractal dimension of the universe is PI. I have no proof that is true, but that is my reasoning.

In trying to understand the universe, sometimes you have to go beyond the standard way of thinking in order to break through the barriers of "wrong thinking" to get to the correct answer. I believe with all my heart and soul that I am close to the correct "way of thinking" about our universe. It may not be perfect (yet) but then again, neither is the universe.
