Piloting a spaceship, the player explores a realistic 1:1 scale open world galaxy based on the real Milky Way, with the gameplay being open-ended. The game is the first in the series to attempt to feature massively multiplayer gameplay, with players' actions affecting the narrative story of the game's persistent universe, while also retaining single player options. It is the sequel to Frontier: First Encounters, the third game in the Elite series, released in 1995. Starting in the year 3300 in 2014, Elite: Dangerous is currently set in the year 3302 and has been running in sync with UTC +1286 years, around 45 years after Frontier: First Encounters, the previous game in the series. Elite: Dangerous retains the basic premise of previous games - players start with a spaceship and a small amount of money and have to make their own way in an open galaxy, furthering themselves either legally or illegally, through trading, bounty-hunting, piracy and assassination. The player is able to explore the game's galaxy of some 400 billion star systems, complete with planets and moons that rotate and orbit in real-time, resulting in dynamic day/night cycles. Around 150,000 of the game's star systems are taken from real-world astronomical data, while the remainder are procedurally generated according to scientific models. Throughout the galaxy, the player is able to dock with space stations and outposts to trade goods, purchase new spacecraft, re-arm their ship, effect repairs and to seek or complete missions from text-based station "bulletin boards". The player may also find cargo or encounter other ships while in flight by investigating 'Unidentified Signal Sources'. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ►Subscribe! - http://goo.gl/9BMn5T ►Facebook: https://goo.gl/qKgZt0 ►Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/restlesscorpse If you liked this video, check these out: ►Dark Souls 3 Playlist - https://goo.gl/jwxa1A ►Salt and Sanctuary Playlist - https://goo.gl/ik5iop ►Duskers Daily Playlist - https://goo.gl/rPHVR2 ►To tell me how amazing I am, or if you just wanna talk about this awesome game, leave a comment below. Big congratulations on making it home safely. It was quite a trip. I did my first forays into exploration earlier today, not even 1000ly. I can't even begin to imagine doing such a giant voyage for that length of time. Maybe when I have a 'Conda, lol.
Again, very well done. :) -
sorry i missed it good on you :)
-
Great job! Welcome back. Looking forward to see your upcoming videos.
-
back home. woot! that exploration paid off pretty well. can't wait to see what's next. keep up the good work rc.
-
You made it back! Congrats! I too love the DBS, it's fast and agile and has a nice jump range. Alsmost unfair in stealth combat too.

With your newly earned credits, I would highly recommend trying out the Imperial Courier. Compared to the Vulture, the Courier is far cheaper yet has comparable shields, fewer power issues, higher speed, higher jump range, poses a smaller target, and has higher DPS.
I comfortably have mine A-rated with a 500+ shield tank at only 9mill. It sounds amazing and the cockpit makes it feel like a fancy fighter jet.
The greatest thing about being wealthy in this game is being able to try out a large variety of ships. :) -
Welcome back cmdr. Go to TUN federal mission paradise and enjoy. There are FIVE fed factions with donation and other missions.
-
What d'ya mean by money patch?

Yeah I didn't make 88 mil like you, lol. I made 55 million, but it was pretty quick for my round trip. I endorse the DBS it was the first ship I bought and did a fair amount of RES in, was 100 times better than a Sidey,
You might not wait too long to go back into exploration as there will be an update at some point putting hostiles in deep deep space.
GJ on the space venture, I know the monotony, did Robigo runs after it and that was like a small walk in the park. -
Awesome! Glad we're back to the bubble and gratz! Can't wait to see what you've got going in the next video.
-
welcome back! i forgot to water your plants while you where out ><
-
Congrats (again)! I thought you would've made more ca$h, but 100mil ain't bad! ;)
-
Congrats on your safe return, CMDR o7! I just got back from my SagA* trip the other day. You made a lot more than I did though, but I wasn't out for as long, lol. Congrats again and welcome to Pioneer!
-
