Hi there is another trick you can use to make the Eagle look like it weighs 328 tonnes is to cut the springs short as possible and the drilled holes into the top end of the leg and fit very light springs to the end. and to give the appearance of highly polished stainless steel cut up a radio telescopic Arial off a transistor Radio that's what I did to my Eagle
all so make sure that all parts move freely but be Careful and only do this if you feel confident to do this and I do really mean if you are confident to do this -
Congratulations on your model kit I have one of these kits and to I plan to scratch build the 44" model Eagle ! It was two late in the build to modify the landing pod gear on my Eagle . I intend to use neodymium magnets to replace the springs by putting south to south so that they repel each other do you think this is a good idea or not so thanks a gain keep up the good work
