they spent 10 billion euros they are not going to come out and say...WE DID NOT FIND ANYTHING
-
what about the anti matter that's being extracted from the experiments? why does no one talk about that, and how extremely unstable it is?
-
There was a time when we had geeky science nerds, good-looking, rock star/boy band types and sporty heroes.
When did we start to get all three in one?

All this is just assumption. So at the beginning of big bang. All our matter is just sitting where ?? to ignite by something. It is all infinite it just doesn't make any sense. Think I'd there was a big bang then where did all the matter of the universe come from. We could be a universe inside of another universe. We will never know unless God tells us. But then who created God. It's common sense something always has to come from where. It's INFINITE

Did / have I missed something. They built hydron to see if Higgs particle exist according to theory. Yet 1:48 when asked so how did you do it Brian replies we made them. How do you make something your trying to see exist?
Can someone explain ? -
I think it will lead to things including Time travel and gravity modification. Levitating vehicles, stargates, warp drives.

When the higgs bosen discovery was announced there was a deep silence in the room at CERN. (see youtube vid of announcement). I got the impression at the time that a group of people were trying to force the idea on the audience and I still wonder if they have found concrete evidence of anything at all.

This is total bullshite... if they'ed have really discovered antimatter then they'ed have Satan in their control, which they don't!
-
Matey doesn't look too impressed.
Bible basher confirmed. -
so, the God particle walks into church and says "HEY! there will be no MASS without me!"
-
that was genuinely fundamental
-
Since we are now pretty sure it actually exists, can we all agree to stop calling it the "God Particle?"
-
A higgs boson is heavier than a uranium atom. lol.
-
What is 345543-Element imaginary named Comic Quark?
-
Science?Physics?
-
A particle has been found, way, way beyond all earlier guesstimates for the Higg's Boson on what was to be their final attempt after so many, many failures over the years.
There is no evidence that it does anything expected of the Higg's Boson. It is a new particle discovered, full stop.
The way this creationist idiot* gushes over it is sickening.
*In a Universe with probably trillions of trillions of planets, he thinks Earth may be the only inhabited one. What a total fuckwit. -
My favorite song by him is "Your Beautiful", gets me every time.
-
well if i can see and control the higgs boson particles im basically god or neo from the matrixmovie. ^o ^

double split enigma M Al is solved. The spay, when is active , is polarizing the atoms or electrons, then they remain only with approximately a transversal components . by now you luck for a metod for complex molecule is nice to see what is happening I don't have a laboratory. About birds is a long story. See then this teory too

I think that the most important point Brian made was at 2:44, "Finding out fundamental things about the universe has been (in the past) the road to Civilization". Indeed, discoveries like electricity, quantum theory, have lead to technologies that have enriched all our lives. It is interesting to contrast this with religion, where its answer to anything unknown is essentially "God did it". This answer achieves nothing. Learning and discoveries stop with answers like that. Given this, it is clear that religion is a barrier to improving our lives, and civilization.
