As good as any Booker T and the MGs album - apart from "Melting Pot" of course!
-
Cool, but not the same without Neil!
-
Rockin' Booker, dig the album!

Nice to see things like this that bring an awareness to surviving great artists.....
-
sweet ... love it !

@wasjunk Doesn't it remind you of a classic Booker T. and the Mgs. album? I enjoyed it as well

looks like Troy Gonyea and Rick Holmstrom on guitars. Gonyea did time in the Fabulous Thunderbirds after Kid Ramos left. He was the next big blues guitarist coming out of the Boston area a dozen years back (doing the cleaner, Jimmie Vaughan thing). He then changed his look (to the long haired hippie freak thing) and started a rootsy rock band called The Howl. Homstrom is a hell of a player, but more in the Junior Watson style.
